AEO is a program, under the World Customs Organisation’s (WCO) SAFE Framework of Standards to secure and facilitate global trade, that aims to enhance international supply chain security and facilitate movement of legitimate goods.
For importers and exporters, AEO program has 3 tier certification, AEO T1, AEO T2 & AEO T3, providing varying levels of benefits like easy and fast custom clearance, assessment and examination of goods on a priority basis, deferred duty payment, direct port delivery, quicker disbursal of refunds, shorter cargo release time to name a few.
Irrespective of business size, anyone involved in international supply chain can apply for an AEO certificate. This includes importers, exporters, manufacturers, logistics providers, warehouse owners, carriers, custom broker and freight forwarders.
We assist in preparation of application, scrutiny of documents and submission for issuance of AEO certification from AEO Programme Manager.
